Whenever...

Whenever you feel you are alone,
Just look into the mirror and your loneliness is gone.

Whenever you see someone laughing at you,
Smile and say I gave a happy moment to you.

Every time you move forward, don't forget the past,
Because you'll be in pain when your friends will walk pass.

Whenever you feel you are in love, don't be worried much,
Go close to her and feel her without a touch.

Crossroads

Are we stuck in crossroads?
Is platonic love good enough?
How does one fill the void?
Answers ain't easy because the questions are tough.

We are in crossroads,
Will we ever meet,
The intersection is long past,
The road is long and steep.

At least we are in crossroads,
Two ships that passes at sea,
And planted a homing signal,
So we can meet again, may be.

Yes we are in crossroads,
I'm sure glad you're out there,
Because tracing our way back is easy,
If only and yes we dare!

All Because of You

My day started perfectly,
Since I spoke to you last night,
I got a much needed boost of happiness,
And my dreams once again took flight.

My quest for completion ended years ago,
As soon as I found you,
My life is now filled with joy,
All the grey skies have turned to blue.

I am by no means a poet,
But emotions just come through,
When I start to put my thoughts in prose,
They turn to poetry because of you.

Ask My Heart

Holding you close to me,
As you start to pull away,
Is the hardest thing to take,
How I long for you to stay.

What makes it easy to bear,
Is knowing you want to be in my arms,
And no matter how many interruptions,
I'll lure you back with my charms.

But easy to bear is not true,
Because I pine so much just for you,
Waiting for the next time.
When i hold your hand in mine.

The sun seems brighter, the air seems crisper,
Just listening to you laugh and talk,
Hearing your voice fills my heart with gladness,
And banishes any hint of sadness.

I love you more and more each day,
Is that even possible, you say?
I tell you to ask my heart,
That beats for you even though we're apart.

You ask my heart and hear it speak,
I'm intoxicated it says, and my knees are weak,
Just knowing that you are mine,
Puts me in a tizzy I can't define.

Together Forever

Oh how I long to hold you tight,
In my arms all through the night,
And when daybreak comes our way,
I'll carry you and fly away.

I'll wrap you with my love's cloak,
When we'll fly through the clouds and wind'll try to poke,
Will keep you warm under my skin,
Till we reach the crown of snow roofed hill.

On the crown of the hill you'll see
How much your love means to me
I'll love you till the end of time,
Leaving all care in the world behind.

Only if we know today is the day,
For our souls to meet and life to separate,
Let me convey what you are to me,
By loving you till eternity.

We Say It Together

I wish I could hold you now,
And wipe away your tears,
Fill your world with joy,
Drive away all fears.

Get the smile back on your face,
And all the laughter that goes with it,
That engulfs my world in happiness,
It doesn't sound cheesy now, does it?

Now write me the next stanza,
And forget the pain you feel,
Join me in wonderful poetry
You'll feel better, now there's a deal!

If it's my turn to say,
Then i should let you know what's real,
Yes your voice makes me smile,
And your care drags off the fear.

The feel of you walking beside me,
Adds fragrance to the air,
And i imagine your hand in mine,
And climbing the heaven's stair.

I dance with you on the clouds,
And fly over the river,
Our feet touching the water,
And skin feeling each other's shiver.

A sudden blow of the wind from the window,
Gets into my hair and as i wake,
I see you sleeping beside me,
And I thank angels to give you as my share.

Happy Beginning

The last day is standing on the edge,
And asking the new day of the year to take the pledge,
To spread happiness and mop away the sadness,
To caress everyone with joy and fun's madness.

So here i send my heartfelt wishes to you,
May the coming years gets the best moments to you,
May everyone's love tightly hugs you,
And success gets hand in hand with you.

Birth of a Story

At the time of night,
When the bright stars twinkle in the dark sky,
When the cold wind from the mountains blow,
A soft touch of the wind awakes the soul.

A slight shiver in the body and an innocent smile on the face,
Brings the memory of the one, who has added to the vision's grace,
It feels good thinking about him, when heart guides,
And you feel as if he is standing beside.

Eyes start talking to the sky,
And heart answers on his behalf,
The darkness of night seems colorful,
And the melodious silence takes you too far.

The feeling is so pure, that you can see through the hearts,
You feel as if God has showered all happiness on your path,
Your lips don't move and don't say a single word,
But then you realize that a story has taken birth.

Falling Star

I don't know which direction i have to take
or which road you will walk on.
I don't know what is written in my destiny
and what's written in yours,
But I know among these countless stars
I also have my presence right at the Zenith,
Shining, showering my wishes and blessings,
acting as a link between you and God, praying for you.
I know you'll never recognize me
as there are so many twinkling stars around you.
Your single look towards the sky makes me happy,
that moment I shine for you.
That time I burn faster just to shine more and catch your gaze.
But to my sorrow it didn't happen till today.
I know one day i will fall from the sky and before that I would pray to God,
to let me fall in front of your eyes, so that for once you look at me
and make a wish from the falling star,
and i promise I will not turn into ashes until I say,
Amen!
